Austin David Coffee is a multidisciplinary music producer, composer, performer, and educator whose work spans film, video games, animation, and contemporary music. Known for bridging creative vision with technical precision, he has collaborated with industry legends including Raj Ramayya, Akira Yamaoka, Kevin Penkin, MPI, Lotus Juice, and Peter McConnell.

Music Producer
Coffee’s production work has been featured internationally through Virgin Records, KarmaFilm, and Hopeful Tragedy Records. He arranged, mixed, and mastered the single “Encrypted Code Reality” for Akira Yamaoka and Raj Ramayya, which is featured in KarmaFilm’s feature-length movie The Housekeeper. He contributed arrangements for multiple Ramayya/The Beautiful Losers releases, co-wrote the title track “Spice Cowboy”—collaborating closely with Peter McConnell—and arranged music for Lotus Juice’s EP In the Shadow. He is currently producing Puzzle, the new EP by Apurva.

Composer
For KarmaFilm, Coffee composed music for the television series Our Big Punjabi Family and contributed original score and post-production audio supervision for the feature film The Housekeeper. His score for the short film Pigeon received critical recognition on the festival circuit.

Performer
Trained in classical piano at the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts and holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Composition & Production from the Academy of Art University, Coffee has performed works from Chopin to Brubeck and premiered original compositions for Old First Presbyterian Church. Under Coffeehouse Family Productions, he released weekly piano improvisations to a dedicated audience.

Educator
Coffee teaches music and audio production through the Marin County Office of Education and received the Golden Bell Award in 2024 for excellence in education. He produces original music with special education students as Grant Grover Music, focusing on creativity, accessibility, and hands-on production skills. Through Samurais of Sound, he teaches voice acting, recording engineering, and vocal performance, collaborating with industry veterans such as Karen Strassman and Wendee Lee. For nonprofit GraceSigns, he produced songs that help families learn ASL through the free app Sign Me a Song.

Coffee designs and maintains websites for artists and studios, including austindavidcoffee.com, Coffeehouse Family Productions, Strawberry Hill Studio, Samurais of Sound, the band Factor 11, and visual artist Amanda Roncaglia’s portfolio site.
