Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
‍Samurais of Sound and Strawberry Hill Studio provide educational content, mentorship, and industry exposure designed to support your creative and professional development. However, we make no guarantees regarding casting outcomes, earnings, agency representation, or other career achievements.

All services and materials are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

By enrolling in our programs or purchasing access to our content, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Your participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

• Success in the voice acting industry is subjective and depends on a range of factors including individual talent, effort, networking, timing, and market demand.

• We are not liable for any losses, damages, missed opportunities, or other consequences resulting from your use of our content, services, or platform.

• We do not offer legal, financial, or career guarantees of any kind.

‍Non-Reliance Clause
Users agree not to rely on any information, content, coaching, or advice provided as a promise or assurance of professional success, income, or employment.

‍Indemnification Clause
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Samurais of Sound, Strawberry Hill Studio, and their officers, partners, affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, liabilities, or legal expenses arising from your participation, conduct, or use of the services.

‍Jurisdiction & Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
Any legal disputes or claims shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Novato, California.

‍Media Release & Promotional Use
By participating in any program, session, class, recording, or event hosted by Samurais of Sound or Strawberry Hill Studio, you grant us permission to use your name, likeness, voice, image, and submitted materials (including testimonials or clips from live sessions) for marketing and promotional purposes.

This may include, but is not limited to, use on our website, social media, email campaigns, course previews, or digital advertisements—always in a manner consistent with our mission and values.We understand the importance of your voice and performance, and we commit to the following:

• Any use of your voice or likeness will be respectful, contextually appropriate, and aimed at promoting community, growth, or program quality.

• If you prefer not to be featured, you may opt out at any time by contacting info@strawberryhillmusic.com, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request going forward.

• No compensation is provided for promotional use, and this permission is non-exclusive and revocable with written notice.

‍Refund Policy
All purchases made through Samurais of Sound and Strawberry Hill Studio are final and non-refundable.

By purchasing a membership, course, coaching session, or access to digital content, you agree that:

• All sales are final.

• We do not offer refunds or credits for any reason, including but not limited to: scheduling conflicts, change of mind, dissatisfaction, missed sessions, or technical difficulties.

• You are responsible for ensuring compatibility, availability, and readiness before making your purchase.

‍Audition Participation Terms – Echoes of Eternity
‍By submitting an audition for Echoes of Eternity, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Eligibility & Submission
Auditions are open to active members of Samurais of Sound. You may audition for multiple roles, but each role requires a separate submission. Please consult the official audition materials, including scripts and pronunciation guides, to ensure accuracy and consistency in your performance.

2. Casting & Compensation
Auditioning does not guarantee casting. If your voice is selected and used in a final production of an Echoes of Eternity episode, you will receive $50.00 in Samurais of Sound credit per episode in which your voice is used. This credit may be applied toward future Samurais of Sound services, sessions, or products. No additional compensation will be provided for performance, reuse, or distribution beyond this episode-specific credit and affiliate earnings (see below).

3. Use of Audio Submissions
By submitting your audition and participating in the series, you grant Samurais of Sound and Strawberry Hill Studio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use, modify, distribute, and publish your audio submissions, including your name and voice, in connection with the production, distribution, marketing, and promotion of Echoes of Eternity and related content.

While this license allows for broad usage, we remain committed to representing your work respectfully and in alignment with the project’s creative standards. If you have specific concerns about usage, you may contact us prior to submission to discuss reasonable accommodations.

4. Affiliate Earnings
Anyone is eligible to join our affiliate program at no cost. If you choose to participate, you will receive 50% of proceeds from any sales generated through your unique affiliate link, paid on a quarterly basis through PayPal, as long as the corresponding episode or product remains available on our platform. Affiliate earnings are not exclusive to those cast in the series.

5. No Guarantee of Future Compensation or Opportunities
Compensation for participation is limited to Samurais of Sound credit (per episode used) and any affiliate proceeds you independently generate. Casting in one episode does not imply or guarantee inclusion in future episodes, roles, or productions.

6. Alternative Editions & Member ExposureAs part of our commitment to supporting member growth and visibility, Samurais of Sound may produce alternate editions of Echoes of Eternity episodes beyond the initial (First Edition) release. These editions allow additional voice actor members to contribute performances, even if they were not cast in the First Edition.

If you are not selected for the First Edition, you may still submit recordings for characters of your choice by following the designated guidelines on the Voice Over Part Submission Form. These recordings may be used in future editions of the episode, which will be publicly released and promoted alongside the core series.

Members featured in alternative editions:

• Will not receive Samurais of Sound credit, which is limited to those cast in First Editions.

• Will be eligible to earn 50% affiliate proceeds from sales generated via their unique link, as long as the episode remains on our platform.

• May publicly list participation in these editions on professional resumes or portfolios, with attribution to the edition used.

These alternate releases are intended to showcase talent, build experience, and offer meaningful exposure in a supportive, collaborative environment.
